Jess,

A wonderful, heart felt/filled but meaty post that got me thinking.

I'm in the same position as you - will hand in my letter of resignation on Mon. The details are different but in general - like you, I don't want to work/teach somewhere that I don't feel "in synch" or doing what I feel I'm best at.

I have given a speech on a few occasions to graduating teachers about "the need to find a place where you are needed". That is the crux I feel and I do hope you keep searching because you have a lot to contribute and there is a place that needs you.... it isn't easy to find that place but when you do, you will know it.

I'll be blogging about my own decision and will certain link to your fine thoughts.

David
